From Naples to Your Local Area
'KindPlateau' started as a humble dream: to share authentic Neapolitan pizza with London. Established by the Rossi family in 1985, our pizza shop began as a quaint, family-managed place, boasting recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Rossi, our founder, mastered the craft of pizza creation during her time in Italy, learning from renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—the original home of pizza. On her return to the UK, her goal was to replicate the essence of true Italian pizza by adhering to traditional practices and using only premium ingredients.
Our original 12-seat pizza shop has since expanded into a much-loved neighborhood staple, but our dedication to excellence and genuineness has remained constant. We persist in using wood-burning ovens, preparing our dough fresh each day, and carefully selecting the best ingredients available.
To this day, 'KindPlateau' is still owned and run by the family, with the Rossi's second generation at the helm of our enthusiastic team. Though we’ve adopted some contemporary innovations, the essence of our operation stays the same: creating mouth-watering, authentic pizza that brings people together.
